Knight of Shadows

Knight of Shadows is the penultimate volume in King’s Dark Tidings, and it functions like one. The pacing tightens, the cast is split across multiple fronts, and several of the long-arc threats from earlier books finally collide with Rezkin’s coalition in ways that cannot be undone. Readers who have been with the series since 2015 tend to describe this one as the book where the consequences finally start landing.

The audiobook, again narrated by Nick Podehl for Podium, was released in December 2024 — about two months after the print and Kindle editions — keeping the same multi-format release pattern that has defined the series since Free the Darkness.
