Kingdoms and Chaos

Kingdoms and Chaos is the book that returned the series after a four-year hiatus and the move to Kel Kade’s own Dark Rover Publishing imprint. It is also the book where Rezkin’s role in the wider geopolitics of the continent solidifies — he is no longer a secret weapon traveling incognito, but a public figure with armies, allies, and enemies who all know his name.

The book is denser and longer than the first three, with a wider rotating cast of viewpoint characters and considerably more political maneuvering. It also marks the point at which the long-running mythological backstory seeded in Legends of Ahn moves into the foreground.
