Halt's Peril

Halt, Will, and Horace are hunting Tennyson — the prophet of the Outsiders cult — across Hibernia. The chase goes well until an arrow goes wrong, and what was a pursuit turns into a long, desperate race to find a healer before Halt runs out of time.

Halt’s Peril is the direct continuation of The Kings of Clonmel and the emotional peak of the original twelve-book series. Will is no longer anyone’s apprentice by this point, and the book earns the title by putting the relationship that opened the series under real pressure.
