Duel at Araluen

Castle Araluen is under siege by the Red Fox Clan. King Duncan is bedridden and Queen Cassandra is inside the castle with a few knights and a very small hope of relief. Maddie is outside, cut off, with Will and a handful of friends — and the only way to break the siege is to do it from both sides at once.

Duel at Araluen is the direct continuation of The Red Fox Clan and the peak of the Red Fox arc. The siege itself is the centerpiece — one of the series’ best setpiece battles — and the resolution leaves the spinoff clear to move into new territory.
