Line of Demarcation

Line of Demarcation is Woodward’s second Jack Ryan Jr. novel. Jack is in Guyana on a business trip — ostensibly to put Hendley Associates into an emerging offshore oil play — when a Russian Wagner contingent and a Venezuelan narco-terror cell both take an interest in the same deal. The title refers to the shifting border between friend and foe that the novel spends its length drawing and redrawing.
